Santa Barbara

we had not the best weather outside right now. yesterday was nice, but today the clouds rolled in. I came across these pictures of Santa Barbara at work today. they reminded me that not all cloudy days will last forever. not sure that anything will last forever. so the good times should be never forgotten. here are some pictures of home, not as it looks today. hope the sun comes out for the weekend.

Puerto Vallarta

just got back from an amazing place in the world. Puerto Vallarta. we had so much fun just relaxing there. got some great surf too. can't wait to go back. we relaxed so much that I hardly took any pictures. kept forgetting the camera in our hotel room. oh and the resort we stayed at was insane. we also met two really cool Canadians, Kenton and Kelvin. both super funny guys from a place I've never been to.

Mothers Day

Mother's Day - a day honoring mothers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers.

When I think about my mom, I can't help but think about how much I love her. most of the time I get lost of words. I mean, how can you write in a blog how much a mom means to us. where would we be without our mom. we wouldn't be anywhere. so I'm lost for words. I love you mom, if you ever read this. Thank you for everything that you have done in my life. Suz and I had a blast honoring and spending out day with you.

Marathon

who knew that a marathon starts with a pancake breakfast the night before. suzy ran her half marathon, and she did it with style. very sweaty. I don't think I would have been able to finish it. it was a fun event. I rode my bike to around, and was her biggest fan.

Jens Birthday

not sure if the age should be posted, but it wasn't 22 or 17. ha ha ha. we rode bikes downtown to celebrate her life. little did we know one of her talents is putting peanuts in her nose. I haven't received that skill yet. maybe one day. ha ha ha.

Beach Bon Fire

Santa Barbara could be one of the best places to live in the world. it is so beautiful here. and there are so many things to do. I've grown up going to the beach my whole life. Bon Fires on the beach after surfing has always been fun. this time we made dinner too. no pics of the stars, but there were tons of them after the sunset. and if that were great enough. to top it off, enjoying all of this with friends is even better.

Biking to Red Rock

rode our beach cruisers back to red rock. a swimming hole on a river. the water is starting to warm up and the grass hasn't gone all brown yet.

Blue Canyon

suz and I went with some of my co-workers on a backpacking trip. it was a blast. had some great food and some great fellowship. fun times. here are some pics of the weekend trip.
